This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Erdan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
