Through the years after Gardain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gardain's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gifted from a young age, Fragrant studied abroad. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Akoth was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
