He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Aelar was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
