History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Farmer job and began his own company from there.
