History: Purson was born with his mother's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
