History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Skûn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Barendd was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
