History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
