History: Born in the south to a Bather, Smoking learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a bather and was forced into it by his family

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. His white fur is braided into rings. His eyes are a pleasant yellow.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Hunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Alston enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Alston was born with his mother's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
