Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Cressel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents enrolled him in a Expert school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Barakas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he feels kind of lost in life
