Personality: Gerard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He became a Servant soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Servant responsibilities is difficult.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
