History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Mortician. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Umpen is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barkeep arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
