History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. At a young age his mother died while driving off some drow. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Caeldrim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and many goblins want him driven away
