His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. River took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Caeldrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Animal Trainer job and began his own company from there.
