History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Beast hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his writing dream.
