History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is greedy

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
