History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: He dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with tan slacks. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly maces and scythes. His brass crest is braided into rings. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shamash does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Shamash was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
