History: Gimurt was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has moderate length brown hair. His eyes are red and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Astar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Astar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Nicor was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and money/treasure
