He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Qualen was taken on many hunting expeditions. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Qualen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Umpen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Umpen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
