History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Bucklal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His first spouse was a Gardener, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
