Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Halander isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. The war was a terrible time for him, and Halander does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Conrad was born with his mother's beautiful face. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Conrad began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
