History: Born in the north to a Miller, Umpen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He became a Miller soon after.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Snafû was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Shoemaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is content.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Gale reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
