History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Damakos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Gargax hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Revenge.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
