Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ortegar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ortegar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Astar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to work out more often

Description: This tall, slender man wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is long and silver with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This man stands a little under 6'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tattered old clothes. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ratlûg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ratlûg was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.
