He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ar-Beka is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
