History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Raam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and many gnolls want him driven away

Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
