History: Tarak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Tarak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and expand his business

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Description: He dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with red slacks. He carries with him a set of daggers on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. His green crest is heavily combed to the left. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well
