However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barrister who has hired him part-time. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.
