His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Melech was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
