History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Kite was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Kite has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and is pretty ugly. He has wavy golden hair. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Gifted from a young age, Darrow studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He wears an entirely black suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is long and white with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ratbag and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
