He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Chem isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tiefling unity. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Chem lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
