He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Zedaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
