Simon Darby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is scrawny and has patchy red stubble. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has a hunchback. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Interpreter who has hired him part-time. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Roland Kensley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his nunchaku, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. Being a Animal Trainer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
