Personality: Varis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
