History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Patrin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Purban has worked very hard to control his curse. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
