He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Reirak was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mantus grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
