History: Shamash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

After coming to the age of reason, Mordai took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
