Personality: Veit is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Veit never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pikar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

History: Cory was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Thamior is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thamior was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and wants to raise his children well
