History: Valafar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Sailor soon after.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and many illithids want him driven away
