Personality: He is fixated on the number 13. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A freak accident while working with his Herbalist father left him crippled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
