Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears his white hair down. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tanglar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
