History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Oppleby was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
