History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. Nykkan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nykkan decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This late middle aged man is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak and is in decent physical shape. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Thorpe liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Theren and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Scribe. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Scribe soon after.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
