Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Bertram enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a deep hatred of drow

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Rimple hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Masseuse, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears dull grey sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed shortspear, just in case. His red hair is thinning but still full. He is baby faced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Beggar job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Gnome Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he desires power and/or immortality
