Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Howard embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Howard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Aust lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Revenge; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Cartwright who has hired him part-time. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arjhan's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
