History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aelar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Priest arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
