One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He now owns his own business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Detective father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
