History: Gennal hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gennal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Leaf grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
