History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Nelkin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Map Maker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has money and likes to spend it
