History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His crest is scarlet and curly. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
