He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it, and his gloved hand is found clutching a ceremonial dagger. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This southern man wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown fur is heavily combed to the left. He has blue eyes and a yellow hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has no hair. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a blue armored body suit, with a simple tan line shooting up and back down. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Frederick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
